I used the services of the expert Fabio Bianchi when building my 20 m yacht Sasga 68 at the Minorca shipyard. As it was a prototype, there was no detailed design, not even specifications regarding materials, installations, and construction methods. At the time of purchase, I had a clause included in the contract allowing me to use the services of a ship surveyor, and this proved to be absolutely the right choice.
Mr. Bianchi accompanied me on numerous visits to the shipyard, each time drawing up a report on the state of the work and the modifications he intended to make to the hull. It was not an easy dialectical with the shipyard, which was obviously sticking to the standards to which it was accustomed, and which Fabio Bianchi managed with intelligence, punctilious and firmness, achieving many improvements in my favor.
